"tldr; Trust Matt, don't trust giant lenders. Matt was great and I was dumb and greedy. He found us a great rate for a refi and then our existing lender (New American Funding) "beat" that rate by 0.1% and I fell for it. NAF jerked us around for 4 months and then pulled the rug. So back to Matt, sadly with a slightly higher rate (I blame Trump for that), but he wasted no time and 5 weeks later we closed on what's still a good refi."
